The European Commission recently released its new Report on the assessment of the implementation of macro-regional strategies, together with a staff working document. We are proud to see that the Shadow Report, an initiative of European House and 8 other CSOs from the four macro-regions, is specifically mentioned in both documents.
“As set out by the cross-MRS Shadow Report coordinated by the Budapest-based European House, civil society organisations play a vital role in contributing to better decision-making, in particular by bringing local and regional communities closer to the MRS,” the report of the European Commission says.
As a continuation of our Shadow Report work, we will act as a “rapid task force” of civil societies and comment the 4th Report, published by the Commission in December 2022. The results of our work will be presented at the EUMRSWeek on 24-28 April 2023. Stay tuned!
