Are you active in the Baltic Sea Region? Do you have a brilliant idea how to contribute to the economic, environmental or social development in the EUSBRS?

Look out for the new call of the Swedish Institute to be open in June 2024 and contact your Swedish partners.

The Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Neighbourhood Programme provides funding for projects in which Swedish organisations work on cross-border challenges and opportunities together with organisations from the EU countries around the Baltic Sea and countries in the EU’s Eastern Partnership. Projects should reflect on the connections to EUSBSR by describing the links to actions specified in the EUSBSR Action Plan.

During summer 2024, the Swedish Institute will open a call for applications regarding the grant type seed funding.

Seed funding aims to lay the foundation for cooperation. For example, projects can use seed funding to:

  • Prepare applications for new funding (mainly EU).
  • Develop concepts and identify partners for future cooperation.

Grant amount: Minimum SEK 100,000 up to SEK 400,000

Project duration: 6–15 months
