Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of macro-regions of Europe?
We are excited to invite you to the Connect. Collaborate. Create – youth summer camp for EU macro-regions, a unique opportunity to grow your skills, build cross-border connections, and actively contribute to the future of the EU macro-regions.
Organised by European House Budapest, this summer camp brings together 18 young people from across the EU macro-regions. Taking place in the beautiful city of Krems (Austria) by the Danube, this initiative is all about empowering young voices like yours.
What’s in it for you?
- Understand the EU better – demystify how decisions are made, learn about macro-regional strategies, and how young people can influence change.
- Meet and collaborate with peers from the other macro-regions – share your ideas, learn from others, and build long-term networks for future joint initiatives.
- Grow your skills through expert-led workshops on EU project development, cooperation, and accessing EU funding.
This camp is not just about learning – it’s about co-creating Europe’s future. Your voice, your ideas, and your passion matter.
The youth summer camp is part of the legacy of the European Year of Youth 2022 and contributes to the EU Youth Strategy, strengthening youth participation and democracy across borders.

Kolping Campus Krems (Alauntalstraße 95-97, 3500 Krems an der Donau, Austria)
Participants
Representatives of youth & civil society structures from the four EU macro-regions (Baltic Sea, Danube, Adriatic & Ionian and Alpine). The organisers reserve the right to ensure balanced participation from all four macro-regions, from a diverse range of youth structures and with regard to gender balance.
Age group
The camp is open to young people aged 18 to 29.
Travel costs
Regarding travel expenses, please get in touch with European House Budapest. A limited number of travel grants are available. Preference will be given to green travel options, such as train and/or bus – or, in special cases, even by bicycle 😊.
Local expenses
Expenses for confirmed participants will be covered.
