Young people across Europe who are driving positive change are invited to apply for the European Charlemagne Youth Prize. Open to EU residents aged 16–30, the prize supports youth-led projects that make a tangible difference at local, national, or European level. Applications are open until 2 February.
Awarded annually, the European Charlemagne Youth Prize recognises initiatives that strengthen democracy, encourage active citizenship, and foster cooperation across communities. The prize highlights the role young Europeans play in shaping a shared European identity and contributing to Europe’s future. It is organised jointly by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen.
What selected projects can receive:
- 💰 Up to €7,500 in funding
- 🎟️ An invitation to the winners’ week in Aachen
- 💼 A traineeship at the European Parliament
