Presentation of the 5th Report of the Commission
on the Implementation of EU Macro-Regional Strategies

Budapest & online, Wednesday, 11 June 2025 | 11:00–13:00 CEST

On 13 May 2025, the European Commission released its 5th Report on the Implementation of EU Macro-Regional Strategies, covering developments between mid-2022 and mid-2024. The report assesses the progress made in the four macro-regions: the Baltic Sea (EUSBSR), the Danube (EUSDR), the Adriatic and Ionian (EUSAIR) and the Alpine Region (EUSALP).

Together, these strategies span 19 EU Member States and 10 non-EU countries, home to around 360 million people.

The event hosted by European House Budapest will offer insights into:

  • The main findings and key messages of the report;
  • How to strengthen governance structures and enhance stakeholder engagement;
  • The importance of synergies across macro-regional strategies.
